Alpine Hideaway Bed & Breakfast
The
Country Irish Room has a vaulted ceiling with a great skylight that
looks at the tops of mountain, clouds and stars at night. It has a
wonderful corner fireplace, ceiling fan and an oversized Jacuzzi tub
for two. The bath room also has a vaulted ceiling and high window
so that you shower or tub with the tops of the trees. Pictures of
my champion Arabian Horses and landscape scenes of Ireland are on
the walls and my English saddle sits above the closet. Because this
is one story up, your views are even more spectacular. It is indeed
your own little tree house. The
new Scandinavian Room in my B&B is the most romantic. It has a wonderful
corner whirlpool/handheld shower with a skylight that opens to the
surrounding mountain tops; climb into your built-in alcove queen bed
draped in white shears with red ribbon roses between two dormers.
From the bed you can look out onto the mountain tops and where the
Ponderosa Pine needles peak in high windows; sit in overstuffed chairs
around a Scandinavian ceramic fireplace with its cheerful embers and
warmth; feel the influence of the sea with the tall ship collection;
look out your picture window into the back forest, big boulders, Mt.
Saxon, and the wildflower garden The Hideaway provides you with fresh flowers, turn down service and chocolates at night and a CD and cassette player to set the mood. And in the morning, a gourmet breakfast in a basket, consisting of quiche, cremes, fruit and cheese, coffee/tea, is delivered right to your door so that you can eat in front of your very own fireplace. The
The
Mountain Contemporary room has a four poster bed with scroll work
and a white pristine matelasse coverlet with lace. A heart shaped
ivy hangs over the bed. Everything is upscale with black and white
tile and gold fixtures. In-room fireplace that you can see from the
tub and anywhere in the room. From the 5 x 6 foot Jacuzzi waterfall
tub you can also see the mountains and Ponderosa trees outside. You
have a back door to a rock walled garden with shaded swing, outside
firechimney and fountain/pond. Views down the entire valley. Every
window looks onto Ponderosa Pines, Spruce, boulders and tops of mountains.
